The Grey DoorPostage & Delivery
Hi It is lovely to have you at The Grey Door. We wanted to let you know that we have made Alterations to the shipping options you have. Most postage is Small parcel but larger items have to be the medium parcel size. Our prices for postage are Royal Mail prices. We have always mainly used 1st class postage so you can receive your order quickly. However with the increase in price to Royal Mail we have brought in the option of 2nd Class postage for you.
Unfortunately 2nd class does take a lot longer on the delivery but if that is okay with you please feel free to use this option.Your postage options will be at the checkout point. We do not charge you for packing just the postage rates. If you live in the Chorley, Lancashire area your delivery is complimentary and will be brought to you directly from The Grey Door. We have also now added Evri for a small parcel option this was Hermes which can take a little longer than they advertise.
If we are shipping to you, please make use of the post and try to purchase in one order, this will save you money. The System picks the rate for the largest item so if you have a gift and a card the the price of the postage will be the gift which is usually small parcel.
When you purchase cards from The Grey Door it will come under the postage of Large Letter, so buy a few at a time it doesnt cost any extra.
We also will create be-spoke gift boxes on request for corporate or family.
We will ask you a price you wish to use and then we will send you pictures of some we have designed just for you, then you can choose.
We hope this service is useful to you as it is becoming very popular .
