Instruction Guide for Use: Ceramic & Porcelain Oil Burners
Thank you for choosing our beautifully crafted oil burners. These products are designed to provide you with a natural and soothing aromatherapy experience, filling your home with your favourite essential oils or wax melts. Please follow these simple steps to get the most out of your oil burner:
1. Setting Up Your Burner
- Place the burner on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure that the area around the burner is clean and free from any flammable materials to avoid accidents.
- Ensure the burner is stable and not near the edge of the surface to prevent it from being knocked over.
2. Using Essential Oils
- Add Water to the Dish (For Oil Burners with a Bowl or Dish) Fill the top dish of your oil burner with water (about halfway, depending on the size of the dish).
- Add Essential Oils Add 5-10 drops of your favourite essential oils to the water. The number of drops depends on the size of the burner and how strong you want the scent. Always start with a smaller amount and add more as needed.
- Light the Tea Light Candle Place a small tea light candle in the bottom of the burner. Light the candle. The heat from the candle will warm the water and essential oils, releasing the aroma into the room.
Tip: Always use a non-scented, unscented tea light candle for optimal fragrance diffusion.
3. Using Wax Melts (For Wax Melt Burners)
- Place the Wax Melt Place a wax melt in the top dish of the burner. No water is needed with wax melts—simply add the wax melt directly into the dish.
- Light the Tea Light Candle Insert and light a small tea light candle in the burner. The candle’s heat will melt the wax, releasing a fragrant aroma.
4. Safety Instructions
- Always Keep an Eye on the Burner Never leave a burning oil burner unattended. Extinguish the candle when leaving the room or before going to bed.
- Keep Out of Reach of Children and Pets Ensure that the burner is placed in a location where children and pets cannot access it. The burner and candle may become very hot during use.
- Extinguish the Candle Safely To extinguish the candle, use a candle snuffer to avoid hot wax splattering. Never blow out the candle.
- Dispose of Used Wax Properly Once the wax has cooled and solidified, you can remove the leftover wax by gently scraping it out of the dish. Do not forcefully remove the wax as it may damage the burner.
5. Cleaning Your Burner
- Cleaning After Use Once the burner has cooled completely, you can clean it. If using oils, wipe the dish gently with a soft cloth to remove any oil residue. For wax melts, gently scrape off the remaining wax with a plastic or wooden tool.
- Avoid Abrasive Cleaners To maintain the beauty of your burner, avoid using abrasive cleaning products or sponges. A soft, damp cloth is usually enough to keep the burner clean.
6. Storage
- Store in a Cool, Dry Place When not in use, store your burner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
By following these simple steps, you'll be able to enjoy a natural, relaxing aromatherapy experience with your new oil burner. Whether you choose essential oils or wax melts, our beautifully crafted oil burners are the perfect way to create a peaceful atmosphere in your home.
